The Task
Our team recently completed a full as-built capture and documentation of the underground services and pump station infrastructure at the Church Road Booster site for Napier City Council.
Using high-accuracy 3D laser scanning, we captured the existing conditions and produced a detailed Revit as-built model, complete with pipe assemblies modelled to LOD 350.
This workflow ensures reliable information for future upgrades, design coordination, and maintenance planning.

Splash Planet Phase 1
Locations
Hastings, Hawkes Bay.
The Task
For this stage of the project, our team completed a detailed investigation of all underground services across the Phase 1 zone at Splash Planet for Hastings District Council. Using a combination of drone capture, survey data, and high-accuracy 3D laser scanning, we identified and modelled the locations, diameters, and depths of each service.
The architectural components were developed to LOD 150, while the underground network was modelled for clarity, coordination, and future planning. This foundational dataset now supports informed decision-making for upcoming works across the site.
Flumes Investigation
Locations
Napier, Hawkes Bay.
The Task
Precise documentation starts with accurate data.
Our team completed a full 3D laser scan of the existing flume to eliminate guesswork and give Napier City Council a reliable foundation for upcoming upgrades.
Using the scan, we produced a highly accurate Revit model and supporting documentation — ensuring every measurement, detail, and constraint is captured before design decisions are made.

Hawke’s Bay Surgical Services
Location
Hawke’s Bay Hospital, Omahu Road, Hastings.
The Challenge
With tight deadlines and tight crawl spaces as well as working around existing services; pipe work, ducting and electrical equipment, Patton Asbuilt tackled this project within the fully operational Hawke’s Bay hospital. Most pieces were man-handled into place and there was no room for error.
Task

Wellington Wakefield Hospital Stage 2
Location
99 Rintoul Street, Newtown, Wellington.
Challenge
Working to tight schedules and high expectations, this job saw us managing multiple packages and a small detailing team. We successfully juggled many variations to the project, building to an existing structure and achieving the expected deadlines.
Task
This contract included -
3D Modelling - 800T building - 8 fabrication packages.
Production of fabrication drawings.
Production of site erection drawings.
Working alongside other trades/services to avoid clashes.
Woodford House Stairs
Location
Havelock North, Hawkes Bay.
Challenge
For this project we were tasked with merging the new build seamlessly into the existing structure, identifying clashes and risks early on to prevent site rework. Construction was on the side of a hill with an unlevel surface, so our job was to meet architectural and engineering intent while ensuring the structure was still buildable.

Challenge
With no elevated work platform available, relocation of existing equipment required and obstacles in the way of site measuring the existing structure, this project successfully utilised several of Patton Asbuilt’s services.

Challenge
With no existing documentation to verify what was existing inside the Pump Station. In order to identify services, this project entailed combining the use of Ground penetration radar, 3D scanning to capture the environment, georeferencing to verify its position in the Hawkes Bay region, all to create a true as-built model that can be used for future development.
